Who We Are

Dotti and Steve Seitz created The Puppet and Story Works as a vehicle for helping children and their families grow toward more successful and fulfilling lives. We have been producing and performing in public and private elementary schools, churches, and community organizations in the Mid-Atlantic area for the past 5 years. We have brought together Dotti's performing career, and Steve's experience in the behavioral health field to create PSW:
Dotti, a Native
American (Southern Cheyenne), combines a career in singing,
storytelling, and training, with her puppetry and ventriloquism skills
to form the 'heart' of PSW's artistry.
Steve, (Pennsylvania Dutch,
shoo-fly pie clan) brings a career in mental health and substance abuse
treatment, prevention, ministry and training to help frame the content of shows
and provide puppeteering and technical support.
In addition to performing two-person shows, we also work with other professional puppeteers and a number of volunteers in the Mid-Atlantic area to produce and perform larger shows.
