The World of Feelings
With songs and comedy,
this series of skits explores common feelings (such as joy, loneliness,
love, and anger) that kids encounter in everyday situations. Because
young children are sometimes confused by their emotions, these shows
have been designed to help them identify those feelings, understand why
they might be having them, and figure out ways to deal with them so they
feel more competent and in-control.
We tackle a range of situations dealing with peer pressure, jealousy,
taking dares, cliques, and conflict. Because each skit is short, we are
able to mix several together to create shows that meet the needs of
specific audiences, age groups, or issues.
The puppeteers and their puppets actively engage the audience in
singing, movement, and discussions so that are able to recall what they
have learned when they need the need to respond to real-life situations.
